In July 2023, ACC’s board of trustees unanimously approved a new strategic framework with a restated organizational mission and three strategies to advance it.

This framework results from an in-depth strategic planning process launched in January 2023. By gathering perspectives from current and potential constituents, examining data about our programs and operations, analyzing other organizations' work, and holding wide-ranging conversations among trustees and staff, we connected ACC’s 80-year history to our present era and mapped a path for the future.

This framework will guide a multiyear plan with specific steps to implement our strategies, with a focus on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and a greater reliance on partnerships and regionally tailored approaches. Stay tuned for more details as we step into a new fiscal year.
