I am the maker/designer of the Brooklyn based bag brand SK WiLBUR. Inspired by New York City's dazzling grittiness, each handcrafted style is a bold tapestry of comic book art, graffiti, and social media hashtags that pay homage to the artistry of Warhol, Basquiat, and Lichtenstein. These statement bags comprising leather and canvas in effortless shapes sewn on my home machine are for everybody, but center on celebrating the richness of the Black American experience.
