I am a craft artist, architect, and educator whose creative work explores the uncommon pairing of clay and wool. My designs involve experimentation with geometry, motifs, color, and texture, conceived both as expanding patterns and singular objects displayed on the wall. Each piece has a story that allows me to discover novel expressions and re-connect to the material culture of my birthplace, Turkey. Ultimately, I am drawn to making objects that are pleasing to both view and touch.
