My name is Roselyn Mendez. I design and build botanical jewelry in copper, brass, bronze and sterling. My work is a bold celebration of the forms of nature. Each piece is hand drawn on the piece of metal that it is built out of. I take great pleasure in chasing, soldering, stamping and manipulating the metal to capture the form and beauty of the plants I observe in my wild gardens. Each element is then combined with semiprecious stone beads and cabochons, hand built chain or sterling ear wires.
