I am enamored with the satisfaction of making things, and the idea of surrounding oneself with items that are in line with one’s aesthetic values and feel deeply specific to the owner. For me, making things is a means of connection, and I want the people who interact with my pieces to understand and feel understood, just a tiny bit, through that interaction. I try to tie together the threads of natural science and fantasy, and make things that are elegant and sometimes funny.
