Nina Kawar is a sculptor whose creative practice explores her intrigue with the human condition and healing. Many of her influences stem from psychology, biology, and spirituality. In this time of transformation and growth, Nina aims to highlight and bring attention to the diversity and the captivating nature of the mushroom through her porcelain “Fungi” series. She has developed a deep love for this great healer and the oldest species that embodies renewal, change and the cycle of life.
