I graduated from the University of WI with a BS degree in art and continued my studies in textiles with Walter Nottingham in graduate school. Since then I have specialized in natural dyeing of silk and believe I have now attained a high level of expertise in this field. Most pieces have been made into garments. One of these pieces, titled "The Raven", was selected from across the world by the National Chinese Silk Museum to be part of their permanent collection.
