SCARFSHOP scarves are dyed by hand in small batches in Minneapolis, MN. Low-impact materials and methods are used whenever possible. Kettle drying in small batches gives our fabric a rich semi-solid appearance with a great depth of color. This is quite different from commercially dyed fabric, which tends to be quite flat in tone. Our dye process is slow and intentional, and many of our colors are dyed several times to achieve their shade. We love color and feel that the extra time is worth it.
