I try to breathe life into clay. To imbue it with feelings or just to capture moments in time. To massage the mundane with magic so that it reveals the wonder within. Each figurative sculpture is a character with a story. I received a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University with a foundation in Graphic and Industrial Design, and spent most of my career working in 2 dimensions, designing ads. It was not until 2020 that I started to explore ceramic figurative sculpture, and thus found my passion.
