Metalsmithing is my second career. I left the practice of law 25 years ago to get a MFA and pursue this life full-time. Never practiced law again. Never looked back. My practice is primarily Judaica. I approach these articles from a cultural perspective. I want to make pieces that, while honoring tradition and retaining function, provide a design edginess that asks the viewer user to see the piece on multiple levels. I also produce tabletop items such as teapots and spoons.
