I craft treasure boxes. My designs aspire to clean, crisp forms, linearity and symmetry. I’m obsessed with precision in fit and construction. I strive to make the simple, memorable. Many of the woods I use are considered “exotics” – not often seen in traditional furniture and craft. All of my treasure boxes co-mingle these woods to illuminate color, highlights and contrasts, and are finished in oil and wax to accentuate natural tone, warmth and texture.
