Born and raised in Poland, I grew up surrounded by art. Already then I started to use hands to make things. My great grandfather and my grandfather were both artisans. I defected communism seeking freedom. In my forties I had come across suede scraps and it was the beginning. Simplicity is the integral part of my work. Each piece is precision cut and then freehand painted with fabric paint. I paint as if I were writing a letter. The understated elegance is the main characteristic of my work.
