As a painter I love to design floorcloths as a unique way to bring useful, fun and often whimsical art into the home. Each one-of-a-kind floorcloth design is painted on durable canvas, first primed with gesso, the hems are mitered and glued, the background and borders of the design are painted with layers of latex and acrylic. To ensure protection from foot traffic, they are coated with six coats of latex polyurethane. Finally, each floor cloth is backed with a non-skid rubber pad.
