Aspen Golann is a furniture maker and artist blending iconic early American furniture forms with contemporary design. Trained as a 17th-19th century furniture maker, she uses traditional decorative styles to create contemporary pieces. Her furniture and small scale homewares mix playfulness and tradition, utility and sculpture. Made using hand tools and traditional decorative techniques, her pieces have the physical integrity of traditional craft with an updated aesthetic.
