Stuart Kestenbaum, the chair of ACC's board of trustees and Maine’s poet laureate, summed up the "Present Tense" conference with his "sense of the meeting." He described a weekend filled with new experiences, old conversations that had been given new light, and a call to continue the dialogue in our own work and communities. It was no surprise that his final words were poetry.
