Tasha Abourezk, Omaha-based artist and member of the Three Affiliated Tribes in North Dakota, will share the history of quilting within her culture and how she uses textiles to explore her heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to create personalized quilting squares by attaching their own identity onto cloth.
