A hands-on workshop exploring the traditional techniques used creating ceramic works in the Mata Ortiz style. Work side by side with Diego Valles while you explore creating your own form through coil building. Students will decorate a greenware piece with the Mata Ortiz stains and on the second day of the workshop we will pit-fire the work.
