Give more than just stuff this holiday season. American Craft Council invites you to a FREE, festive event at Parallel Café + Events in Minneapolis where you can browse the work of over 70 Minnesota makers and pick out gifts packed with story and nuance. Bring the whole family to celebrate craft, commerce, and design and get into the holiday spirit through music, demos, food and drinks, and more.

Curated by ACC, Tricia Heuring of Public Functionary, Leslie Barlow of Studio 400, and Parallel, craft selections will range from ceramics, jewelry, fashion, and home goods to apothecary, candles, and letterpress cards. Guests of all ages will also be able to join in a number of hands-on experiences:

• Mini self-portrait making with the Minnesota Children's Museum
• Printmaking artist activation with Proof Public
• Tintype portraits with Zoey Melf
• Book sale of niche titles curated by the ACC Library
• Live experimental portraits with Daughters and Suns
• Juxtaposition Arts Pop-Up Shop that celebrates the north side and the creative genius of its young people
• Live glassblowing demonstrations with Hennepin Made

Artists showing at Craft Bash include Silvercocoon, Ani Kasten Ceramics, Printerette Press, Baby Skateboards, Everthine Jewelry, SCARFSHOP, There There Collective, Celina Kane, and more.

Our spirited, Friday-night preview party for Craft Bash offers an exclusive first look at the work of Saturday's artists – and then some. Take the holidays up a notch, enjoy a night out, and experience some of Minnesota's most exciting artists and makers – all under one roof.

• Live painting with Ashley Mary
• Music deejayed by Sarah White
• Fashion pop-up with Winsome Goods
• Vintage pop-up with Tandem Vintage
• Astrological readings with Silver Rising (The Future)
• Tarot readings with Big Mouth Tarot
• A glass paperweight workshop with Hennepin Made (7:30 p.m., sign-up onsite in the Hot Shop)
• Tickets include one drink ticket and a chance to win exclusive giveaways during the event
