American Craft Made

American Craft Made / Baltimore Has Been Postponed

Due to ongoing challenges and concerns around COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming marketplace originally scheduled in person at the Baltimore Convention Center February 11–13, 2022, and online February 7–20 at shop.craftcouncil.org. If you have already registered, your registration will remain valid for the new dates.

While the decision was not easy, we are looking forward to seeing everyone in May when the weather will be warmer and more favorable for travel. Come out to support and shop from our artists and take a weekend to celebrate all things handmade. Can’t make it to Baltimore? The online side of American Craft Made is designed to bring our exciting marketplace to you wherever you are.

Important Details for 2022

As a nonprofit organization committed to helping artists thrive in an ever-changing landscape, we've made some changes to our in-person marketplaces.

Event Size
Our 2022 marketplaces will be slightly smaller this year overall to ensure the safety of our guests and our artists. View participating artists.

 COVID-19 Policy for Baltimore
The safety of our artists, staff, and guests is our top priority as we return to in-person events in 2022. We will be implementing the following policy for our American Craft Made marketplace in Baltimore to minimize the risk and spread of COVID-19. These policies may be amended closer to the event dates in response to changing public health conditions and local and federal guidelines. Updated January 3, 2022.

  • UPDATED: Vaccination Required for Artists and Guests – We are requiring that all of our exhibitors and marketplace guests show proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccination. Proof of vaccination may include a physical card—or a photo of a complete vaccination card—that matches the artist or visitor’s ID and with their final dose dated at least 14 days prior to the event.

  • What Counts As Vaccination? – At this time, the CDC considers people fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks after a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The CDC currently recommends that everyone ages 16 and older get a booster shot. In the event that the CDC redefines “fully vaccinated” to include the booster shot, we will reach out to you regarding any changes to our COVID-19 protocol. For the latest CDC vaccine guidelines, click here.

  • Face Coverings Required – In line with the City of Baltimore's current mask mandate, both guests and artists will be required to wear a face covering within the event venue.

  • Resources – Connect to a COVID-19 vaccine provider in your area through vaccines.gov. If you’ve been vaccinated but lost your card, find out who to contact here.

Traveling to attend? Enjoy hotel discounts.

We're pleased to offer American Craft Made exhibitors and attendees discounted rates at local hotels. Don't miss out on early-bird specials! Plus, booking your room through the American Craft Made room block shows the city the true economic impact craft has on their city.
