My deep love of gemstones- their immense variety, amazing colors, and natural inclusion characteristics - lured me into gold smithing and jewelry design. Working in age old techniques, using gems and precious metals mined from the Earth, gives me a sense of connection to the natural world. Being able to work these raw materials into a wearable piece of jewelry is what brings me joy. I hope my creations brings that same sense of connection to craft and natural elements to the body they adorn.
