As a former engineer and Navy veteran, my aesthetic is heavily influenced by the engineering and maritime worlds. Employing handmade colored glass in bold settings, my work contrasts luminous color with the textures and patinas created by weather, seawater, and hard use. My current collection explores coherence of asymmetry in a geometric context. I studied metalsmithing in classes and workshops around the country and started a jewelry and stained glass business with my partner in 2008.
