Nicole Stokes is a fiber artist born and raised in Baltimore City. Her body of work includes portraits, free form and wearable art all crocheted or knitted by hand. Nicole’s art was born from her battle with depression around her son’s autism diagnosis. The work simultaneously offered a financial means to pay for services and treatment with traditional medications. The work is multidimensional. The work can be used for sensory integration and attuned with energy to promote holistic wellness.
