Each piece is either handbuilt or thrown from a very gritty clay. Manipulated, textured, layered with slips and glazes to achieve a complex surface. The work is fired in an electric kiln multiple times at varying temperatures. They are affixed to an aluminum tube which allows for easy hanging.
