I have been a glass artist since 2003 and have been creating glass chainmaille jewelry using borosilicate glass since 2009. Each link is hand formed in the flame and is in turn attached to other rings. The rings are closed individually in the flame and the entire piece is then annealed. I have become captivated by this technique and by the idea that by shaping and joining glass in a non-traditional fashion, a traditionally fixed medium can be changed into one that is both flexible and fluid.
