I’ve worked in many disciplines—computers, painting, film—and I call upon these various skills while I’m creating my jewelry. They add layers and stories to the work. Everything is crossed referenced. I design on the computer and finish in metal; two very different worlds. During the process, I connect other worlds through the story that’s developing: Nature, emotions. It’s this flow that keeps the piece from being just one thing. I want my work to be open to new stories by whoever wears them.
