My passion for spoons has taken me through more than 40 years of experimentation in the woodshop and my kitchen. I choose local cherry and I cut the wood on the band saw then drum sand and finish with food-grade mineral oil. My art study comes from The Bauhaus and The Arts and Crafts movement. My primary focus is the concept that "form follows function" and I have shaped my art to provide the best functionality possible. A wooden spoon can become the most interesting item in your kitchen.
