I have been creating quirky, narrative figure sculptures in kiln fired clay since 2017. Each piece is sculpted and hand painted in underglaze washes that create very expressive and interesting figures. They are gritty and at the same time have a touch of whimsy. I am telling stories of childhood memories and my struggles with growing older.
