Romey-Tanzer
BFA, School for American Craftsmen, RIT, Rochester, NY, 1979. MFA Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, 1984. I also studied weaving and textiles in Finland and Canada. I have been a teacher of art, weaving, and photography for 35 years. My handwoven works are made of cotton fiber, stitched to a stretched linen canvas and are for hanging on the wall. I use a double weave technique to create the illusion of depth in my nonrepresentational images. My works are for public and private spaces.
