Rigby
Emilie Rigby has been working as a spoon carver and wood sculptor for the past four years. She uses her knowledge and love for the natural world to inspire her pieces. All of the wood in her work has been salvaged locally from arborists and carved with hand tools. She believes deeply in preserving historic tools and techniques while also seeking new and innovative applications for them. Her "skullptures" are carved true-to-size out of a single piece of wood. Her work is painted with milk paint.
