I make contemporary art quilts that use color and fabric to create an abstract landscape that tells a story of time and place. Each quilt is made of hundreds of different fabric scraps that I individually sew through the cotton batting onto the back of the quilt, then I intensely machine quilt the work and hand finish the binding. I use great attention to detail to create a work that is professional. I am constantly pushing the traditional techniques of strip quilting to explore new ideas.
