ACC Giving Day—May 20, 2021

Craft is MADE for times like these. You have a hand in keeping it alive.

Thursday, May 20, 2021, is your opportunity to invest in artists and their craft. Your investment in the American Craft Council is an investment in beauty, resilience, hope, opportunity, and the well-being of all of us. Donate during #ACCGivingDay to help us reach our goal and be entered into drawings for craft! Our nonprofit uses our platform to amplify artists’ stories, broaden the craft community, and preserve the legacy of craft. If you are able, please plan to donate to ensure we can continue our work.

Make an early Giving Day contribution

Help us reach our goal of $30,000 by donating what you can to ensure we can continue our work. Special thanks to ACC Trustee Carl Fisher, who has so generously offered to match all Giving Day donations up to $10,000.

As part of Giving Day, we're excited to be giving away several "el-bowls" handmade by ACC Trustee Michael Strand. Shaped by pressing a ball of clay against the elbow, each bowl is not only functional but also a unique imprint of its maker. These photos were taken during an "el-bowl" workshop that Michael facilitated at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia as part of ACC's 2019 conference.
