Pleiades has grown from its’ original group of seven women jewelry artists to a core group of 11 artists and a changing roster of 17 guest artists each year. Additionally, we have a juried student booth to give two new student jewelers a mentored experience in a retail show. The work has included one-of-a-kind silver and gold pieces; with gemstones, dichroic glass, beads, paper and enamels, along with silver flatware, vessels, and table sculpture.
Pleiades now partners with the prestigious Strathmore Arts Center, just outside of Washington, DC, to display and sell finely crafted art jewelry their historic mansion, built in 1899. Free parking is available additionally; the mansion is convenient to Metro.
