Elizabeth Ryan

Elizabeth Ryan is the ACC's interactive media specialist. Prior to joining the Council, she worked at Utne Reader, a national magazine that serves as a digest of the independent press and features the work of some 1,300 alternative periodicals that roll through its library on a monthly basis. While at Utne, Elizabeth was an assistant editor and web editor, managing the website and social media as well as pitching, writing, and editing articles for the print magazine. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in journalism, including an emphasis in magazine editing. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves to draw, paint, and make a variety of crafts.
