The Oregon College of Art and Craft and Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland's two oldest art colleges, have teamed to offer a joint MFA in Applied Craft and Design. This historic program may offer a glimpse into the future of arts education in America as it explores the fusion of tradition, innovation and practice with design theory and hands-on making.
