In 1974, when I was 14, I saw a film that made a lasting impression on me. That's Entertainment was a glorious tribute to the golden era of the Hollywood movie musical, a compilation of highlights from MGM masterpieces of the 1930s, '40s and '50s, such as Meet Me in Saint Louis, Singing in the Rain and Gigi.
