The American Craft Council Show returns to Sarasota, December 2-4, 2005, displaying contemporary American craft by 200 artists from across the country.
The event takes place at the Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center, adjacent to the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
Several local-area artists will display their innovative craft in a variety of forms, from salt-glazed stoneware and brushed miniature pinch-pots to sculpted steak sets.
For seasonal shoppers, the show offers a diverse range of prices, ranging from $50 to $5,000 for one-of-a-kind gifts.
Sarasota area collectors and craft enthusiasts will enjoy the rare opportunity to meet the nation's premier and emerging craft artists and purchase their latest work.
The largest juried craft show in the Southeast, this show will include jewelry, contemporary fashion collections, furniture, home décor accessories and wall art,
as well as sculptural and functional works of glass, ceramic, metal, wood, leather and decorative fiber.
More than 10,000 people are expected to shop the diverse selection of one-of-a-kind and limited edition craft.
