Today's interview is with Kristine Goldy, exhibitor services coordinator for the American Craft Council.
What is your favorite/most-read art or craft book in your personal collection?
Furniture with Soul: Master Woodworkers and Their Craft by David Savage. I'm always daydreaming about the fantastic New York apartment I will have someday, and this helps with the fantasy!
What book or magazine would you like to sneak out of the ACC Library?
Dwell
What book(s) are you currently reading? Any kind of book is fine!
Just Kids by Patti Smith
What hooked you on craft? What's the first craft you remember seriously catching your eye?
It was glass. I am from the Pacific Northwest and you can't help but walk along the sidewalk and notice the craftsmanship in the small shops and gallery windows.
If you could master a new craft, what would it be?
Woodworking. I'm definitely a functional/practical kind of gal and being able to build from that would be fantastic.
