The National Watch and Clock Museum issues a call for artists for the upcoming exhibition "A Matter of Time." This exhibition invites artists to respond to the concept of timekeeping and how it is represented today. Artists are encouraged to visit the museum at www.museumoftime.org for more information. Special consideration will be given to those works that are functional timekeepers as well.

The National Watch and Clock Museum was officially opened to the public in 1977 with fewer than 1,000 items. Since that time, the collection has increased to over 12,000 items. Today, the museum is recognized as the largest and most comprehensive horological collection in North America.

So how do you as an artist respond to the concept of timekeeping?
