Cecil Humphreys

Cecil Humphreys, known for his cast bronze bowls and intricate custom fixtures, was trained in painting and printmaking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. But on his first visit to Lugar Foundry, then located in Earle, Arkansas, he says, “The warmth and depth of the material and the intricacies of the lost wax casting process captivated my attention.” That was 15 years ago, and he has been working with bronze ever since. His work is represented in galleries and showrooms across the country.
