Kathleen Mangan: On Lenore Tawney

Fiber legend Lenore Tawney’s life and work is the subject of a solo exhibition at the Maryland Institute College of Art, open now through March 17. Kathleen Mangan, director of the Lenore G. Tawney Foundation, will examine the development and major themes of Tawney’s work in weaving, collage, and assemblage, which can be seen in the exhibition.

Don’t miss the exhibition "Lenore Tawney: Wholly Unlooked For" in the Decker Gallery of the Maryland Institute College of Art (1301 W. Mount Royal Ave., Baltimore), presented in conjunction with the Lenore G. Tawney Foundation and the University of the Arts.
