Six outstanding artists will be recognized at our annual Awards of Excellence presentation. Four will be honored for their work, while two will be recognized for booth design. Please join the Awards of Excellence jurors as they honor some of the many extraordinary artists at the show.
This year’s jurors are Robert Mintz, Tim Tate, and Megan Auman.
Mintz is the chief curator at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore and holds a Ph.D. in East Asian art history. Tate is cofounder of the Washington Glass School and an internationally celebrated glass artist, whose work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, Mint Museum, and the University of Virginia Art Museum. Auman is a designer, metalsmith, and entrepreneur who exhibits and sells her jewelry across the United States and is an instructor for Towson University’s Metalsmithing and Jewelry program.
After the presentation of the awards, please join the jurors and award-winners for light refreshments and conversation at a post-ceremony reception.
