Multi-dimensional textiles, clothing and costumes are the focus of 4 Weavers: Contemporary Expressions of an Ancient Craft. The exhibition will showcase the work of contemporary Bay Area artists Candace Crockett, Ulla de Larios, Suki Russack, and Barbara Shapiro, with the participation of Sandra Erickson of the Center for Pattern Design in St. Helena. Contemporary sculptural garments in hand-woven fabrics were designed specifically for this exhibition by Ulla de Larios, Suki Russack, and Candace Crockett. The G.K. Hardt gallery will showcase past and recent works by the artists.
